ANOMALY
ANOMALY is a short film combining travel footage from Iceland with visual effects.
I traveled to the 'Land of Ice and Fire' in October 2017. With a concept in mind of what I wanted to create I teamed up with Benni, Markus and Johannes of Wildboar 3D Studio. Luckily the guys shared my vision so we worked on this passion project together.

Creative conception
At first I worked on a concept presentation. I explained the basic idea, did some research about locations and showed some rough drafts of the visuals using Adobe Photoshop.
Video shoot in Iceland
In October 2017 I shot the video in Iceland. I used a single-handed gimbal, a small mirrorless camera and a drone. Sometimes I had to shoot under difficult conditions - in the rain, strong wind and with horses blocking and licking the car.
Video editing
Editing, sound design and colorgrading where done inside Adobe Premiere CC.
Visual Effects
I teamed up with Wildboar 3D Studio from Nuremberg. These guys are responsible for all of the 3D effects in the video.
VFX where procedurally generated inside SideFX Houdini and composited in Nuke.
